Dear friend, I would like to thank you for taking time to read about where this brand grew from, not to mention the support which I am so very thankful for. Choosing to start a brand such as this one is something I had wanted to pursue for some time, as cliché as that sounds. Regardless of this however, I hope to build a community and create expressive pieces of clothing that people will love, cherish and enjoy.
 
The idea behind the original prints came from finding captured moments from my mother and family’s past, hence why the collection is called antecedent. Finding the images to be most intriguing and to create a perfect illustration of that point in time, I found to be so captivating and therefore decided to start the brand with that at its core.
 
Some may ask ‘why?’ to the concept of having past family photos on clothing, but to me I understand these pictures to paint many words and to be interpreted in multiple different ways by different people. For that very reason, those who are able to can in some way connect. Of course, this may not be the case as I know plenty of friends that purely just enjoy the image aesthetically and that’s equally as great.
 
I wanted this brand to be personal, and one that has its supporters as its friends. I’ve always sought to be creative and hopefully this will be the start of something good, with a forever growing community of individuals, who want to share and be a part of this hopefully exciting and inspiring journey.
